Artist Biography




Veronica Khristov, born in Vienna Austria grew up with art and history all around her.
Works from Masters like Klimt, Mucha and Schiele fueled a dream of becoming a painter herself one day.
Moving to America, marriage, two sons and a BA Degree in Business Administration from Rutgers filled her life in New Jersey. Moving to California and selling her Import Business she  finally allowed  herself to follow her dream and fining her passion in painting.

Starting out with Prof. Vito Leonardo Scarolla,  still at the College of Art and Design in Laguna Beach  and than Saddleback College, she took classes at the Florence Academy, the Watts Atelier in Encinitas, the Scottsdale Art School with JoAnn Arnett and Joshua Fallik,  and many a Workshops with Jeff Horn, Jacqueline Kamin, Cynthia Britain, Michael  Obermeyer Calvin Liang and Jacobus Bass. She took many workshops in France, Italy and Greece.

Her love and ability to travel exposes her to different countries and cultures and enriches her creativity to bring the unique experience onto the canvas with bold colors. 

She was Show director in 2008 for the Newport Beach Nautical Museum Show for SOCALPAPA

Her paintings are hanging in private collection in Southern California, New York, Austria and Germany.
