When painting I lose myself to the challenge and the invisible realm of time and nature, and the feeling I do not exist, but time exists in art. I am the catalyst between the subject and the painting in an altered state of consciousness and try to capture the essence and beauty of the moment to last just a little bit longer.
The enthusiasm to paint is connecting me to the past and the future and I am united by the discipline of the harmonious proportional relationships of all things through a cosmic order. I feel to be connected to the multicultural but ever present language of art.
I am propelled to be part of the creative process fueled by my classical training and my osession for the splendor in nature and man, driving everything existing around me.
My only wish is that I will also be able to pick up a brush tomorrow.
